MEA - Membrane Electrode Assembly

The membrane and electrode assembly consists the addition of polymeric membrane (Nafion® DuPont®) between two gas diffusion electrodes, which may be either carbon cloth or carbon paper. This arrangement is responsible for the electrochemical reaction of Hydrogen gas with Oxygen from the Air.

The MEA have excellent performance in PEMFC (Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells) using pure hydrogen (purity> 99.995%).

The "LOW COST" production developed by NovoCell allows its use in Systems for Laboratories, Backup Power for Data Centers, Mobile RBS, Electric Vehicles or any other use requiring a stable, reliable power that has no environmental impact.

NovoCell is ready to provide the Full MEA's (with frame and seals) or customized according to customer demand (with or without Electrical Insulation and Sealing).
